Chris Bent
Chris has his own Graphic Design business and works as a
practicing artist in Leicester. In addition he teaches as a part-time lecturer at
De Montfort University in the Graphics department.
He has been painting for many years on a semi-professional basis exhibiting his work both locally and nationally and is an active member of the Leicester Society of Artists. He works both in oil and watercolour having a special love of the latter. He will share his enthusiasm and working techniques and provide those interested in this very beautiful medium with advice and encouragement that will provide the basis for exciting, creative self-expression and artistic development.
Nigel Catterson
Nigel has studied the area of personal growth and inner development for over 30
years. He has been trained in the eastern traditions of Tai Chi and Qigong and
has been teaching energy work, and its various applications, in a wide range of
situations for over 12 years. He has also studied and been trained in traditions
of Native Americans and the ancient Hawaiian practise of Huna. Having studied a
wide range of energy work and movement from many different traditions he evolved
the 'Life Dances'
and the 'Seven Shamanic Principles in Action' programmes. These
programmes are designed to rapidly produce results and to create a shift in
conscious awareness for the participant.Nigel lives in rural Cumbria and is very attached to his home and local environment. He is a keen musician, singer songwriter, and plays a variety of instruments. He is also a keen gardener and enjoys walking and 'being in and with nature'.

Jean Danford
She started her career in South Yorkshire and has worked for the NHS and Adult education. She now works independently, running her own therapy practice and Yoga classes. Her other skills, include Postural Integration, Healing, Colourpuncture and Counselling.
Jean has run many courses and workshops on both Yoga and healing, and is a senior tutor for the College of Healing. She now lives in Herefordshire. Jean brings together an understanding of energy and the influence of the mind and emotions on physical well being, helping individuals to integrate this knowledge to enable them to move forward in life in a positive way.
Mark Ellis
Mark is a Lecturer in Creative Writing at The University of Bradford and The Open
University. Specialising in the short story he has published widely and has won a number
of literary prizes including The University of Plymouth Short Story competition for
Whiskey and the W.R.Hammons prize for short fiction for Waste. A collection of his
short stories entitled Faded Pictures is published by Collective Unconscious and is
available here. Mark is currently conducting research towards his PhD which involves analysing the relationship between reality and fiction in pieces of art, literature and performance. Part 1 of his novel Liber Mundi will be published by Collective Unconscious in October 2010.
Stephanie Fasold
Stephanie is a freelance floral designer who trained, like Sue Morriss, with Constance Spry in London.
They have both developed their skills over 20 years undertaking further training with Mary Adams in Knightsbridge and with
Philip Horgan, who is twice winner of the prestigious Floral Designer of the Year in England Award and frequently arranges for
Prince Charles and Princess Anne.Stephanie was raised and educated in England and now resides in Paris, Virginia, returning to England regularly to visit family and to further develop her skills. She is a member of the Floral Guild at Washington National Cathedral where she arranges flowers, helps decorate the cathedral for celebrations and gives demonstrations. She has many other prestigious clients including the Vatican Embassy in Washington D.C. Stephanie's work has been featured in 'Southern Accents' as well as other magazines and in the book 'Hunt Country Style.'
Sarah Fraser
Sarah graduated from the university of Lancashire in 2008 with BA (hons) Acting. During her time
on the course she studied a great deal of alternative techniques as a new approach to performance.
An area where Sarah has excelled greatly is in the voice practises introduced by the
company PanTheatre. In 2007 Sarah had to present to a panel in the hope of winning a summer
scholarship to go and study with them in the south of France. Indeed she succeeded, beating
fierce competition, and travelled to France where she spent two weeks attending seminars,
workshops and performances in order to improve her understanding of the work.Since leaving university Sarah has been working as a professional actress as well as working in a school aiding troubled children reach their full potential and running frequent drama workshops.
Jude Goddard
Jude Goddard is a highly skilled facilitator and organisational development consultant with over twenty years of
public sector service. Before opening her private practice she was a Primary Care Trust Director for five years.Jude holds an MA in Health Service Management and a BSc in Behavioural Psychology. She is also a qualified mediator and has a private psychotherapy and counselling practice. She amalgamates Gestalt and Transactional Analysis techniques into her work, helping individuals, groups and organisations to recognise ways to improve their working practices and relationships.
A relationship specialist she also delivers leadership development programmes specialising in conflict and relationship management.
Pam Hampton
Pam, along with her husband Brian, has run a complementary health clinic -
The Caring Clinic - in Sheffield for more than 20 years. Prior to that
Pam worked in various clinics in Chatham, Gillingham and Gravesend in Kent. Before that she was a biology teacher, which she enjoyed, until her own
health issues encouraged her on to another path which she also found rewarding and fulfilling both for herself and helping others to help themselves.She is qualified in a number of therapies including massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, healing and counselling, hypnotherapy, Aura Soma colour therapy and Angel therapy. Pam has given talks and workshops throughout the country within the NHS, complementary health and business. In both one to one sessions and small groups Pam likes to draw out the potential within all people, easily, effortlessly and with love.
Penny Jones
Prior to establishing Azurite Coaching, Penny had over 20 years experience as a senior leader in both
Local Government and the NHS, latterly as a Primary Care Trust Chief Executive. She is an EMCC accredited Master level coach with a MA (Professional Coaching) from i-coach academy and Middlesex University and an accredited practitioner for MBTI and EQi. Penny has developed a special interest in working with people, individually or in groups, through their life and organisational transitions. She believes that by establishing a relationship of trust and respect she can support clients who are in complex situations to work with the uncertainty and ambiguity they experience and to make their best decisions and subsequent action plans. Implicit to her approach is increasing the client's capacity for reflecting and learning from their experiences.
Penny is interested in supporting people to be more aware of what really matters to them and to live and work in a way that is congruent with their values. At the heart of her work is helping people in their relations with others and developing a clearer understanding of the context in which they live and work. Authentic and wise leadership are therefore significant areas of interest to her.
Lilian Kershaw
Lilian is a homeopath, an executive and life coach, as well as a highly experienced human resources
and organisational development consultant. Prior to establishing her own business in 2004, she had 30
years experience in the NHS, 16 of them as a Trust Director. Lilian is qualified in personnel, management and development and holds an MA in Leading Innovation and Change. She has an Advanced Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring, is an accredited MBTI practitioner and is trained in the NHS Leadership Qualities Framework tool. More recently, Lilian has also qualified as a homeopath at the Lakeland College of Homeopathy. Her course there, together with her postgraduate development, has blended several disciplines and she now uses homeopathic remedies, essences, herbal tinctures and kinesiology (Therapeutic Energy Balancing) in her practice.
With her passion for learning and personal growth, Lilian encourages others (aided by remedies when desired by the client) to increase their self awareness, take personal responsibility and to integrate regular reflection, conscious change and learning into their daily activities.
Philippa Mooney
Philippa is a highly skilled and experienced trainer and coach, working in the field of personal and organisational transformation.
Philippa's passion lies in helping others to develop understanding and practice in developing authentic communication.
She is a specialist in building inner strength and resilience to experience change without stress and has worked nationally with
organisations and individuals to achieve positive results.Prior to establishing her consultancy in 2003 she worked in further education and the NHS gaining a special interest in health, well-being and organisation development. Her move into the NHS expanded her experience in community and workplace health and she specialised in building resilience and managing stress in the workplace before taking a post in Organisation Development in a large NHS Trust. Having built up a strong client base, she became a freelance consultant, trainer and coach, gaining preferred provider status with national private and public sector organisations. She holds Postgraduate Certificates in Leading & Managing in the NHS and in Professional Coaching.
Philippa's commitment to her own and others' growth, involves developing an integral approach to making a real difference in our experience of being alive, and living beyond our own ego. Her personal philosophy relates to not just surviving but thriving in life and creating harmony in both our internal and external states.
Debbie Moran
After gaining her degree in Communication, Social Science and Psychology at the University of London, she went on to study at The National College of Psychotherapy and Hypnotherapy (London), The Merjon School of Psychotherapy (London), The Avanta Network (USA), The NLP Institute (USA) with Steve and Conirae Andreas, and Polarity Therapy with The International School of Polarity Therapists (Devon). After having her children she furthered her training with Homeopathy at The Lakeland College of Homeopathy (Cumbria) and Reflexology with The British School of Reflexology (London). She is a Registered member of the Complementary Therapists Association and an Embody Complementary member and lecturer.
She is married with two children and lives in York.
Sue Morriss
Sue is a freelance floral designer who trained, like Stephanie Fasold, with Constance Spry in London.
They have both developed their skills over 20 years undertaking further training with Mary Adams in Knightsbridge and with
Philip Horgan, who is twice winner of the prestigious Floral Designer of the Year in England Award and frequently arranges for
Prince Charles and Princess Anne.Sue ran a florist in London before moving to America, where she now lives, near to Washington D.C. Sue is a Team Captain with the Floral Guild at Washington National Cathedral and also is florist to the British Embassy in Washington.
Yvonne Newton
Yvonne is a complementary therapist with over 20 years experience and a background in orthodox
medicine. Originally qualifying as a nurse in the NHS, personal health changes led Yvonne
into the field of complementary medicine. Over this time Yvonne qualified in Counselling,
Reflexology, Aromatherapy, Reiki Master, Angel Therapy, Hypnotherapy, NLP, Emotional Freedom
Therapy, Bereavement Counselling, Massage, Yoga Teacher and Therapist.
The skills and tools she has acquired over this time has enabled her to skilfully combine a wide range of treatments and therapies which facilitate and guide clients to make changes to enhance their own health and wellbeing.
Yvonne aspires to help others to recognise the choices available in achieving balance, harmony and wellness. She aims to support and guide others in seeing these choices and how to become responsible for change in our lives. She offers all her experience and skills on a one-to-one and group basis and believes that life can be different if we choose.
Kevin O'Connor
Kevin offers highly entertaining cooking demonstrations at Cold Cotes and provides private party catering. He believes food should be cooked simply,
look great, taste fantastic and above all the whole experience should be fun. He is an experienced chef/trainer currently working for Craven College
assessing trainee chefs to achieve the City & Guilds Professional Cookery qualification.
His professional career in hotels and restaurants spans 30 years and includes working for Forte Hotels in London and internationally. His great interest is cooking, experiencing the different cuisines of the world and experimenting with new techniques and methods.
Joanna Russell
Joanna lives and works at Cold Cotes where she is the events director and caterer.
She lived in Austin, Texas for over 20 years and moved back home to Yorkshire in 2006. Prior to returning she completed an MA in Spiritual Psychology at the
University of Santa Monica. This 2-year, Soul-Centered programme was truly transformational and
the skills learned there continue to support her on her journey and inform the material she works with in these sessions.
She is guided in life by a deepening awareness that we are all Spiritual Beings having a Human Experience and that we can use all of that experience for our upliftment, growth and learning.
Mike Shillabeer
Mike is a specialist in communication, he is an NLP Master Practitioner
and Trainer accredited by the International NLP Training Association. He is also a
certified hypnotherapist mixing NLP and trance with great effect. His aim is to
assist individuals to unlock their own potential through positive "self talk"
removing blocks they have to learning or achievement. He is able to assist people
to recognise that dreams are realisable and that the only limits we have are the
limits we impose on ourselves. He is also able to assist individuals and teams
communicate effectively and to either avoid or resolve conflict in their
interactions.Another key part of Mike's key learning has been in the area of psychometrics and individual psychology. Mike is a registered practitioner with the British Psychological Society and is accredited and licensed to run a wide range of different instruments that help individuals understand their preferences and skills as well as identifying ways of refining their skills and learning new ones.
Mike Shillabeer has worked as a consultant in education and training for the past
twenty years being the founder, owner and director of TDP development Ltd a
successful business based in the north of England until the end of 2003 and
trading as Imagine Results since that date, first as a sole trader and then
with his business partner Jude Goddard. His style is highly interactive and
entertaining, beginning with the premise that learning is fun.
Richard Squire
Richard Squire is a fine art graduate who has used his skills for over 40 years to mentor people of all ages and abilities. He is a qualified
Artist, Art Teacher and also a Teacher of the Deaf. Having recently retired from being in charge of a city wide Service to the Deaf he is currently
Chairman of a local Art Group and exhibits regularly with that group and others. He has therefore spent his entire adult life and career exploring
most visual aspects of our world both as an Artist and Visual Communicator.
Richard's art education was traditional and included training in most areas of graphics and fine art. He is interested in all forms of the visual arts from the traditional to more modern approaches. He is keen to help others develop their artistic skills and visual awareness thus enabling them better to appreciate and share in the world around them. He is also keen to develop each individual's personal artistic views and strengths so that they become better able to express their artistic selves confidently and competently.
