Introduction to Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
Saturdays 10am - 4pm, May 1st and October 2nd Presenter - Mike Shillabeer

You enjoy learning most when you are having fun, don't you? This is an exciting opportunity to have an enjoyable day exploring why NLP has been such an important development in learning and self- growth. Become curious about why NLP can help us see infinite possibilities in what we can achieve and how it can help us understand others and ourselves better.

NLP provides a lot of great tools to help you see, hear and feel differently about the world and our place in it but more than anything else it helps you to develop an inquisitive attitude and way of looking at the world. This means you can let go of restrictions on what you believe you can do and achieve as well as increasing your enjoyment of what you do and what you experience.

Maybe you lack self-confidence or you over indulge (e.g. food, tobacco, alcohol). Maybe you just need to find ways of setting personal direction and committing yourself to action. NLP can help you develop new strategies to deal with issues of this kind.

During the day you will have an opportunity to discover the:

-- NLP model of the world and the possibilities it unfolds

-- NLP communication model helping you understand what goes on for yourself and others in your interactions

-- Ways to develop rapport - matching, mirroring and pacing both words and non verbal communication

-- Representational systems and submodalities - preferences for visual, auditory, kinesthetic or audio digital language

-- Strategies you use in your everyday lives for everything you do

There will be lots of time for practicing new skills and ideas as well as observing demonstrations of how NLP can make change truly happen.

NLP can help you perform better in your work, aid your own personal growth and development or just increase your own health and well-being. If you are someone who works in a team or cares for others it will also assist you to help them deal with situations in a more resourceful way. Come and find out more.
